KONTEC KSC-F Traditional Vise

The SCHUNK KSC-F vise is a single-acting, fixed-jaw vise (traditional vise) designed for maximum flexibility on a palletized system or machining center. With a 160º quick-clamping mechanism and a modular design optimized for automation and pallet pools, this vise is ideal for second-operation workholding, precision finishing, and use on standardized pallets.

Key Features

  • Single Fixed-Jaw Design | Classic vise configuration with one stationary jaw ensures excellent rigidity for secondary operations or precise finishing cuts; includes a transverse groove for secure location of workpieces enabling precise machining of the sixth side of a part
  • Quick 160° Clamping Action | Achieves full clamping force with a short turn (about 160°) of a torque wrench making part changes fast and easy; a brief twist locks or releases the workpiece
  • High Force at Low Torque | A power-amplified tension mechanism allows the vise to reach high clamping forces even with minimal tightening torque, not only protecting the operator from overexertion but also minimizes wear
  • Low Profile & Lightweight | Extremely flat design and reduced weight make the KSC-F perfect for pallet systems and robot-loaded fixtures; multiple vises can be mounted  without overloading, and the flat profile provides more vertical clearance for tooling
  • Seamless VERO-S Integration | VERO-S quick-change interface allows the KSC-F to mount directly onto SCHUNK zero-point clamping modules; clamping pins attach right into the base, enabling one-click installation on any pallet or machine table with VERO-S
