Reduction adapters and risers expand the versatility of the SCHUNK VERO-S zero-point clamping system by elevating or adapting fixtures to the optimal height by raising the workpiece or fixture. This minimizes interference from surrounding contours and compensate for different clamping heights, which is especially valuable in multi-axis (5-axis) machining. Each adapter locks into the zero-point base with the same precision and rigidity as a standard clamping module, so even elevated parts remain securely and accurately positioned.
